One day may be enough to admire the main monuments such as the Arena, Juliet's House and Piazza delle Erbe. However, if you want to explore the city in more depth, visit the museums, soak up the local atmosphere and maybe take a trip to Lake Garda, we recommend you spend at least 2-3 days here.

1. Bike tour among famous attractions and hidden corners: Verona is an extremely bike-friendly city, perfect for a bike tour of classic sites and unusual places that conceal the city’s legends and stories.
2. Relax in the Alessandro Canestrari Gardens: a favourite meeting point for locals. These beautiful gardens are perfect for a gentle walk and relaxation.
3. Explore Valpolicella and its signature wines: take a guided wine tour in the hills of Valpolicella and taste acclaimed Ripasso and Amarone wines in the region's most famous wineries.
4. Take a photo at sunset from the stairs to Castel San Pietro: towards sunset, climb the steps leading to the castle of San Pietro, in front of the Ponte Pietra, and take a picture of the view beyond the cypress trees.
5. Stroll through the narrow streets of Via Sottoriva: between the church of Sant'Anastasia and the New Bridge lies an ancient medieval quarter, preserved just as it was, with two rows of houses with arcades running parallel to the river. The perfect place for a photo among the flower-filled balconies or lunch in a picturesque trattoria.
6. Take a photo at the Well of Love: in the city of lovers, don’t forget to take a photo at this well in Vicolo San Marco in Foro, not far from Piazza delle Erbe. Legend has it that to prove his love for Isabella, Conrado threw himself into the well, and she followed him in despair.
7. Visit the Parco delle Cascate di Molina: an hour's drive from Verona, the Molina park of waterfalls offers long walks among memorable scenery, fantastic waterfalls and archaeological excavations.
8. Admire the most important Baroque building in Verona: Palazzo Maffei is home to a collection of art ranging from Greek and Roman archaeology to the present day, with masterpieces by Picasso, de Chirico, Magritte, Kandinsky, Warhol and more. The extraordinary panoramic terrace offers wonderful views of the city.
9. Spot the pandoro statues: if you look upwards halfway down Corso Porta Borsari, you’ll see two statues in the shape of a pandoro, the traditional Veronese cake that’s exported all over the world.
